Yurts offer a special holiday, and at Oxenford Farm you can also enjoy the beautiful surroundings of a working Somerset farm.

When you arrive for your holiday at Oxenford Farm, you will be greeted and your luggage taken to your Yurt
for you. You may park in the farmyard, as the Yurt site itself is car free to ensure complete peace and
tranquility!

With showers and environmentally friendly compositible toilets onsite, bed linen and kitchen
utensils in each Yurt and the facility to buy bacon, eggs and milk from Oxenford Farm, all you need to
bring is yourselves for a relaxing and idyllic stay in the country!

Pack your wellies and old clothes and spend time in the milking parlour. Help to milk the cows
or feed some pigs! Escape to the country and relax from the pace and pressures of
modern day living.

New for 2010:

Each of our 2 yurts has its own family shower room where guests will have sole use of their own purpose built room containing a walk in shower cubicle, washand basin, shaver point, mirror, coat hooks and stool. Leave
your washing toileteries safely locked in your own shower room throughout your stay.

During your stay hire a chicken coup and 5 chickens. Have full responibility for your hens. Feed
and water, talk to them, keep them safe and every day they will return your efforts by supplying you
with eggs. They will on average lay 1 egg per chicken per day (5 hens = 5 eggs per day).
